Store Policies

Generally Awesome Dotcom encourages every customer to carefully consider all purchases prior to placing an order to ensure that each customer buys only the product that is right for him/her. If you need help selecting a product, finding more information, or answering specific questions about a product please fill out a product information request.

By making a purchase on our site you are agreeing to abide by the policies outlined below. We encourage all customers to read through the policies below prior to making a purchase. Returns & Exchanges
A Return Authorization Number (RAN) must be obtained prior to the return or exchange of any goods (defective or otherwise). To obtain an RAN please visit “Initiate a return.” We will issue a RAN and provide instructions for the return or exchange of the product.

Any product sent back without a RAN will have the delivery refused and the freight company will return the item to the buyer (you), who will foot the bill.

Defective Items
Please obtain a RAN and we will arrange to have the item picked up and or replaced at no cost to you. To report an item damaged in transit or a defective item please visit “Initiate a return.”

Wrong Item
Despite our best efforts errors do occur from time to time. If the wrong item arrives, we will make sure that you get the right item in a timely manner. All you need to do is report the delivery of an incorrect item using the “initiate a return” form.

Non-Defective Item
Customers may be charged up to 15% restocking fee for any return or exchange of items that are not defective (t-shirts are the only item with no restocking fee, see below). Returns for any reason other than defect or “damaged in transit” fall into this category.

All customers must obtain a RAN before sending back a non-defective return. In addition to being subject to a restocking fee, customers will be required to pay for the return shipping of non-defective items. In cases of exchange the customer will also have to pay the outbound freight charges for the exchange, even if the original purchase qualified for free shipping. (To avoid these charges we encourage you to ask questions and choose carefully before making a purchase. Do not hesitate to contact us.) T-Shirts Exchanges/Returns
A RAN is also required on all t-shirt exchanges or returns. T-shirts may be returned or exchanged for any reason provided the shirt(s) arrive(s) to us unworn in new condition. In cases of returns or exchanges the customer will pay for return shipping. In cases of defective or damaged t-shirts, Generally Awesome Dotcom will send replacement shirts.

We understand that it may be hard to get the exact fit and size over the internet and for that reason we have a very permissive return/exchange policy on t-shirts. Another reason we are able to give a more lenient return policy is due to the fact that we carry all of our t-shirts in our own facility.

Other Products
Our other product categories are filled entirely or in part by a third party supplier and therefore Generally Awesome Dotcom and the customers of GenerallyProducts.com are subject to the return policies of the respective supplier. For this reason it is imperative that all product returns and exchanges be initiated through this site so that we can ensure that all requirements are met.
